How does one "go viral" on BearBlog?
I am relatively new to BearBlog, and so far I thouroughly enjoy the experience of using this platform. Besides having the helpful urge to actually write here, I also like to have a look at the Discovery feed from time to time.
Doing that, I noticed that I have no real idea how anyone would ever "go viral" within this little community.1 Some posts emass more that fifty upvotes in a short time. How is that possible when a new post appears in the "most recent" category every few minutes? Are these all regular readers who follow an RSS feed of their favorite Bear bloggers?
In any case, and maybe more importantly: The fact that it is quite unlikely to find a huge audience here in a very short time is, to my mind, a feature and not bug. Publishing some of my writing (instead of just writing to myself) without having to fear massive scrutiny is the perfect sweet spot for developing the craft, getting reps in and honestly "thinking in public" without reflexively performing for an audience or refreshing the Analytics page all the time.
And that's exactly what I came here for.
